As of January 1, 2019, the Cape Verdean government canceled individual tourist visas valid for 30 days and one-time entry for EU citizens.

With the abolition of this type of visa, a Security Tax (TSA) payment of €31 payable at the airport upon entering the country was introduced.

It is also possible to pay this fee online at the  website ease.gov.cv. Registration and payment can be made no later than 5 days before departure to the country.
